I am the owner of “The Highlight Reel Productions.” I have twenty-nine years of experience in video production and post production. Many of these years have been in the sports world, cutting packages for the Olympics and the Para Olympics, several super bowls, and cutting promos for all the major sports leagues. I spent many years cutting promotional material for television shows, movies and major events that have happened all over the world. Over the past 15 years I have been involved in youth sports in different capacities. In high school, I was a highly recruited athlete for football and track and field. Rutgers University was my school of choice to continue my athletic career in both sports. However, due to recurring problems from a devastating knee injury, my college athletic career was cut short. Having had the opportunity to attend Rutgers University, allowed me to replace the lost of one dream with the birth of another passion; “telling stories” through Images in motion. Having a great college experience has led to one of our main goals at The Highlight Reel Productions; To produce outstanding creative highlight reels for student athletes who have the ability and desire to play Division I,II or III college sports. Our highlight reels will serve as a major footprint in the process for high school athletes to obtain a college degree. My blog post will be providing information to assist the high school athlete in preparation for the next level of competition.
